Acquisition of COSDO Swindon Limited by Frasers Group

Frasers Group acquired 100% of the shares in COSDO Swindon Limited for around £144.5m. 

COSDO Swindon Limited, previously owned by LaSalle Investment Management, holds Swindon Designer Outlet. The retail outlet opened in 1997 and spans 250,000 sq. ft and currently attracts over 3 million visitors annually. The outlet is home to brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Reiss, Nike. Puma, Rituals and Clarins. 

Michael Murray, chief executive of Frasers Group, said: "Physical retail is central to our Elevation Strategy and investing in Swindon - one of the UK's top five outlets by footfall - strengthens our position as both retailer and landlord. This acquisition reinforces our property strategy and unlocks new opportunities for our brands and our partners."
