BDO appoints three new partners

Accountancy and business advisory organisation BDO LLP has announced the appointment of three new partners, following the internal promotion of 24 partners last month.

Ben Coggin joins BDO as a Transaction Services Partner, having built up almost 20 years' experience. At BDO, Ben will be responsible for growing the Transaction Services practice across Yorkshire and the North East to support ambitious mid-market businesses looking to explore strategic transactions. Ben's sector expertise includes technology, media and business services, as well as industrial markets. He will be based in the BDO's Leeds office.

Andrew McIntosh also joins BDO's Yorkshire and North East team as an Audit & Assurance Partner. He has over 15 years' experience and a wealth of technical expertise, utilising technology and data-driven insights to work with businesses on their growth journey.

Charles Waite joins BDO as a Tax Partner in the London Office. Using experience gained over more than 20 years, he will be leading BDO’s Global Value Chain proposition in the UK, helping clients undergoing operating model transformations to address the tax implications of change.

Mark Shaw, Managing Partner at BDO, commented on the appointments: "BDO is a people-powered business and investing in talented and high-performing individuals like Ben, Andrew and Charles is important to the continued success of our organisation - and the entrepreneurial, growing and ambitious businesses we work with.
