Executive summary

I am the Head of Advisory in BDO's International Institutions and Donor Assurance (IIDA) team, with over 20 years of experience supporting the world’s largest donors in using their finances meaningfully to achieve impactful development outcomes. As a trusted global advisor to my clients, I focus on delivering services to foster positive societal change.

It's a privilege to advise our clients on their pathway to sustainability, helping them adapt effectively to an ever-changing global landscape. I bring a wide range of skills to my role, including expertise in financial and control assurance, development of risk, due diligence and assurance frameworks, evaluation and performance, organisational consultancy and ESG leadership.

I work with a diverse range of Not-for-Profit and Public Sector organisations, specialising in guiding a variety of entities within the Global Donor sector. This includes the European Commission, the United Nations, various bilateral Development Agencies and a range of other multilateral entities, including the World Bank and the Green Climate Fund.

I have delivered over 200 assignments in over 50 countries globally, providing my clients with the assurance that their organisational frameworks are operating optimally and sustainably and delivering their programmes, projects and investments function effectively to deliver sustainable results.

I hold a first-class degree from Cambridge University and am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, as well as a member of the Institute of Risk Management. As an accredited trainer, I've delivered risk management training courses and facilitated workshops in various locations worldwide and hold a certificate in artificial intelligence from the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford.
