Iain Henderson

I have over 30 years of experience auditing public and private multi-national businesses who report into the US, or who are undertaking transactions on the US Capital Markets.

I am the sector lead for our US Audit team (which includes a dedicated Global Capital Markets team, led by Gary Drennan comprised of approximately 150 people who deliver audits to US listed and private companies reporting under US GAAP or IFRS accounting standards and audit opinions under PCAOB or AICPA auditing standards. I work with a broad range of companies, covering those in the Consumer Markets (including Gaming), Professional Services and Technology and Media sectors.

As BDO UK's Country Co-ordinating Partner for our US member firm, I lead on all aspects of the BDO UK/US relationship. I am, or have been a member of the following BDO leadership committees:

• Audit Stream Executive (Leadership body of BDO’s Audit Stream, with a personal focus on International and Partner Investment)
• International ('I') Board (Responsible for Audit)
• Partnership Council (BDO Governance Board)
