Jingru Liu

I am a partner for our China Advisory Services, working closely with the core China Advisory Services team based in London, and the 200+ bilingual English and Chinese speaker’s firm wide, specialising in working with companies with China origin to succeed in the UK and Europe. I joined BDO in 2012 and have over 20 years of experience, working with Chinese companies going global.

Working with state-owned enterprises (SOEs), listed companies and privately owned businesses with a global strategy, I am a true China expert with my expertise, knowledge, skill sets. I am fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales (FCA), and I also hold an MBA degree.

In my 21 years' career to date I have worked with SOEs, listed companies and private business at all stages of their strategy and plans of internationalization. I have extensive experience in sectors including financial services, technology, life science, manufacturing and e-commerce and have worked with companies at all stages of maturity and scale.

I am excellent with large, complex, cross-border engagements and projects. My clients include:
